Saturday Signs – Beo Meo Temple

A misty, rainy day in 2003. Some photos from Beo Meo Sa Temple, Geum Jong gu, Busan city. The stone lantern was constructed during the Unified Silla Dynasty period about 7th century. One of the oldest stone lanterns surviving it has been designated as Busan Tangible Cultural Property.

    1. Hi Sue,
we were in Korea for ten years, but we first left Canada in 2001. We came and went, but counting time away it’s been ten full years. That’s why we thought it might be time to return and settle down here again. We gettin’ a little older and thinking about more security and good medical etc. Korea treated us well. 🙂

      1. Yes, -12 for a high here today. That’s tough when I see Busan’s high is 17. We really must have been a little crazy to return here in the winter. 🙂
